This  Privacy  Policy  explains  how  Field  Trip  Digital  LLC  (“we”,  “us”,  “our”  or “Company”) collects, uses and shares your Personal Information and other data through your use of any of Company’s websites, services, code and/or software (collectively, the “Services”).

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information we collect or acquire about you through  the  Services  and  through  any  other  media  channels  and  platforms,  whether online,  offline,  print,  telephonic,  mobile,  wireless,  or  otherwise,  whether  collected  or acquired by Company, or any subsidiary or affiliate.

Please  note  that  certain  Services  may  require  that  you  consent  to  additional  privacy-related  practices.  In  that  event,  we  will  disclose  those  practices  to  you  in  a  separate Privacy Policy, and that Privacy Policy will be considered to be a part of this Privacy Policy.  In  the  case  of  any  conflict  between  this  Privacy  Policy  and  a  more  specific Privacy  Policy,  the  more  specific  Privacy  Policy  shall  prevail  with  regard  to  the particular Service it is associated with.

By accessing the Services, you accept this Privacy Policy, agree to the terms, conditions and notices contained or referenced herein as well as in Company’s Terms of Service (the  “Terms”),  and  you  consent  to  collection,  use  and  disclosure  of  your  Personal Information  as  described  herein.   Any  capitalized  term  used,  but  not  defined,  herein, has the meaning given to it in the Terms.

1. What Information Do We Collect?

We may collect two types of Personal Information:

  1. personally identifiable information, which constitutes any information that can identify an individual directly or through other reasonably available means and is otherwise referred to herein as “PII” or “Personal Information”, but does not include information deemed not to be Personal Information in accordance with applicable law; and

  2. non-personally identifiable information (“Non-PII”), which is also referred to as aggregate and anonymous data, or is information that would not, in and of itself, identify you.


Non-PII Information may be collected passively using various technologies or via submission of data by devices you may have configured to work with the Services, cannot be used to specifically identify you. We will store such information ourselves,  including within databases owned and maintained by our respective affiliates, agents, and/or service providers. We will use such information and pool it with other information to track, for example, the total number of visitors to the Services, the number of visitors to each page of the Services, and the domain names of our visitors’ Internet service providers. No personal information is available or used in this process.

Please note that what one may initially consider to be Non-PII may, in some contexts, such as in respect of small geographic locations or communities, result in such information being attributable to you or allowing you to be identified because of the context. Please consider this when providing information.

2. What Information Do We Collect?

When you use the Services, you will be asked to provide us with certain PII and Non-PII about yourself such as your first name, last name, address, phone number, email address and business address.

When you access or use the Services, we and third parties that provide certain functionality on our Services will engage, receive, collect, and store certain types of information through automatic data collection tools including cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, embedded web links, and other commonly used information gathering tools (“Automatic Data Collection Tools”). These Automatic Data Collection Tools collect certain information including, but not limited to, information such as your web requests, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform type, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, cookies that will uniquely identify your browser, and elements employed in the mobile applications.

3. What Other Information May Be Collected?

Creating user profiles (a “Profile”) permits us to better understand what information a given user of our Services might like to receive from us and for developing new products and services. Your Profile on the Services and certain information in your profile may be available to other users of the Services. You have the ability to view your Profile and can update and/or change your Profile through the Services. Note that if you include PII in your Profile, it can be used and viewed by others. We are not responsible for the information you choose to include in your Profile.

We may combine the personal information and/or the location information that you provide via your account with information from other Services or third parties to enhance your experience and/or to improve the overall quality of the Services. For certain Services, we will give you an opportunity to opt out from providing or sharing your personal information.

4. Will My Information Be Shared With, or By, Third Party Services?

We may request access to your social media webpages such as Facebook and Twitter for purposes of your Profile. Some of those third party services may also provide us with Personal Information from your accounts and, as such, we may collect such information. Please refer to the privacy policies of any such third party service providers for additional information.

5. Can I Give Feedback?

You should feel free to give us feedback, register a complaint, or ask questions about the Services. We may store your communications, including any Personal Information you include in them, so that we can effectively respond to you.

6. How Do We Use Your Information?

Our primary objective in collecting your information is for operating, maintaining, and providing you all of the features of the Services, including the display of customized content and advertising, and for providing the basic functionality of mobile applications. In addition to those uses mentioned above, we use the PII collected for the following purposes:

  1. for registration and access to your account;

  2. to manage your account;

  3. to communicate with you for the purposes of XX, providing updates, notifications, and release information pertaining to the Services;

  4. to measure interest in and improve our Services;

  5. to provide you with information and offers from us or third parties that we believe you   may   find   useful   or   interesting,   including   marketing   or   promotional   materials, advertisements, coupons and other information on services and products offered by us or third parties;

  6. to resolve disputes troubleshoot problems; and

  7. to monitor the Services and to enforce the Terms.


In addition, the Personal Information allows us to develop and customize the Services and to better understand what products and services you would like. The Personal Information may also be used to send you e-mails or other electronic messages that we believe may be of interest to you, such as our newsletters. We may also invite you to participate in surveys or other processes.

In addition to the uses mentioned above, we use the Non-PII collection for the following purposes:

  1. to monitor and analyze use of the Services and for the technical administration of the Services;

  2. to increase functionality and user-friendliness of the Services;

  3. to better tailor the Services to your needs;

  4. to generate and derive useful data and information concerning the interests, characteristics and use behaviour of users, and to verify that users of the Services meet the criteria required to process their requests.


PII and Non-PII may also be used for monitoring elements for security and/or credit or fraud prevention purposes.

7. When Do We Share Your Information?

We may share you information with the following parties and/or for the following purposes:

  1. we may share your Personal Information with Vendors in connection with any Offers you opt-in to through the Services,

  2. we may share much of our data, including your PII, with our parent, subsidiary and other affiliated companies (each a “Related Entity”) that are committed to serving your needs and providing related services. Public Profiles, and

  3. we may use third parties to provide technical support and perform tracking and reporting functions, conduct quality assurance testing, and provide other services in connection with the Services and may share Personal Information with them so that they can perform the services they are required to perform. We may also share information with other parties whom you ask us to send Personal Information, whether explicitly or by using the Services.


To better serve you and improve the Services, we will conduct research or obtain certain information on your demographics, interests, and behavior based on personal information and other information you provided via the Services or to third-parties. This information will be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and we will share this aggregated information with our affiliates, agents, and business partners. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. We will also disclose aggregated information in order to describe our services to current and prospective business partners and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.

We reserve the right to disclose and/or transfer information about you to a third party in the event of an actual or proposed sale, purchase, lease, amalgamation, merger, joint venture or other type of disposition or financing of any or all of the Field Trip Digital LLC. or any of its assets or shares, in order to ensure that you continue to receive the same services. If another company acquires our company or all or substantially all of our assets, that company will assume the rights and obligations with respect to that information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to investigate abuses on the Services and enforce and apply our Terms and this Privacy Policy. We may disclose Personal Information about you to third parties if we have a good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

  1. take action regarding suspected illegal activities;

  2. enforce or apply our Terms and this Privacy Policy;

  3. comply with legal process and law enforcement instructions and orders, such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, judicial proceeding, or other legal process served on us; or

  4. protect our rights, reputation, and property, or that of our users, affiliates, or the public, including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

8. How Do We Protect Your Personal Information?

We understand how important protecting your privacy is, and we are committed to safeguarding the information you provide to us. And while we cannot guarantee security, we have implemented specific security procedures through Amazon RDS Security to protect the storage and disclosure of your information, including the use of a firewall, security groups and secure socket layer (SSL) / transport layer security (TLS) encryption technology to encrypt data in transit. Data at rest is encrypted used AES-256. Your data is not encrypted while in use. Further, access to your information is restricted to select employees or representatives.

9. How Can You Correct Your Information?

To update your Personal Information, or please contact us at and notify us of what information is to be updated.

10. How Long Will We Keep Information?

We keep the Personal Information you have given us for at least as long as you maintain your account with the Services. Keep in mind, however, that even if you delete your account, we may retain your Personal Information in conformance with our data retention policy, under which we may reasonably retain such information to comply with laws, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms, and take other actions otherwise permitted by law.

11. What About External Links and Parties?  

If any part of the Services links you to other websites, those external websites do not operate under this Privacy Policy. We recommend that you examine the privacy policies posted on those other websites to understand their procedures for collecting, using, and disclosing personal information. Once you leave our website, our Privacy Policy will no longer apply. Also, we cannot guarantee the privacy of third parties whose information our users have provided to other members on the Website.

12. Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act

The Canadian government has enacted the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”). PIPEDA outlines the way personal information may be used in Canada, and we fully adhere to it. You may at any time contact us regarding our use of your Personal Information by using the contact information referred to below or at the mailing address referred to below. You may contact us to provide you with more information in respect of our Privacy Policy and privacy practices, to provide you with an opportunity to review your PII or to correct any inaccuracies you determine are contained in such PII holdings. Please note that before we are able to provide you with any information or correct any inaccuracies we may ask you to verify your identity and to provide other details to help us to respond to your request.

You are also entitled to request information as to the type of PII we have collected from you, how we have used your PII in the past and how we may use it in the future, and whether or not we have disclosed your PII to any third parties (and, if so, to whom).

There may be circumstances where we are unable to provide access to your PII.  We may deny access for legally permissible reasons, such as situations where the information contains references to other individuals and is not reasonably severable, or where it cannot be disclosed for legal, security or other commercial proprietary reasons. We will advise you of any reason for denying an access request.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of relevant changes by posting a notice on our website or within the Services. It is your responsibility to review the most current version of the Privacy Policy. Revisions to this Privacy Policy will become effective on the date set forth in our notice.

The most current version of this Privacy Policy will govern our use of your information and will always be located at tripapp.co. By continuing to use our Services, you agree to be bound by any revised privacy statement. If any change to this Privacy Policy is not acceptable to you, you may cease your use of the Services.

International Users

The Services are hosted in the Canada. If you access our site or application or use the Services from any jurisdiction with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure that differ from the laws of Canada, please be advised that through your continued use of the Services, you are agreeing to the transfer of your personal information to the United States, Canada, and/or processing globally.  By visiting and/or using our Services, you consent to any transfer and processing of any personal information you provide in accordance with this Privacy Policy including processing by Company subsidiaries and affiliates.

15. Choice of Law; Arbitration.

For users outside the province of Quebec, this Privacy Policy and all related matters is governed by and will be construed under the laws of the Province of Ontario, without regard to the conflicts of laws provisions thereof. You (and, if applicable, your minor child) hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the province of Ontario in relation to all disputes arising from or related to this Privacy Policy and any related matters.   Any dispute arising from or relating to the subject matter of this Privacy Policy shall be finally settled n accordance with the Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures of Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services, Inc. (“JAMS”) then in effect, by one commercial arbitrator with substantial experience in resolving intellectual property and commercial contract disputes, who shall be selected from the appropriate list of JAMS arbitrators in accordance with such Rules. Judgment upon the award rendered by such arbitrator may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Notwithstanding the foregoing obligation to arbitrate disputes, each party shall have the right to pursue injunctive or other equitable relief at any time, from any court of competent jurisdiction. For all purposes of this Privacy Policy, the parties irrevocably consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the courts located in the Province of Ontario. Any arbitration under this Privacy Policy will take place on an individual basis: class arbitrations and class actions are not permitted. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT BY ENTERING INTO THESE TERMS, YOU AND COMPANY ARE EACH WAIVING THE RIGHT TO TRIAL BY JURY OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.

To the extent legally permitted, any claim or cause of action you may have arising from, connected with, or relating to this Privacy Policy or our handling of your Personal Information, or any related matters must be commenced within six (6) months, after the claim or cause of action arises, after which time the claim or cause of action is forever barred, regardless of any statute or law to the contrary.
